Here are some answers to a few questions you may have. If we don’t answer your question then please send us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to chat to you.
What’s included?
Your rent includes a TV license (live and on-demand), internet, water, gas and electric. We will manage and monitor all utility bills for the property, including things like switching suppliers, meter readings and smart meter installations.
Will I need to pay Council Tax?
As a full time student you are exempt from paying council tax, however, you will need to issue your own exemption certificate. We are more than happy to offer help and advise on this.
Are the properties furnished?
Yes, all of our student accommodation comes fully furnished. The bedroom includes a small double bed, mattress protector, wardrobe and rail, dressing table, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. In the lounge there will be a sofa, Smart TV and table and chairs.
Kitchens have an ovens and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and most of our properties have dryers and dishwashers.
Will there be parking?
Some of our properties have street parking where you can purchase a permit from the local authority. Please note, Clifton Street School is charged by the land owner (price at his discretion).
Will the accommodation be cleaned and maintained?
Whilst it is your responsibility to keep your accommodation clean, a cleaner will come in every 6 weeks to do the bits you miss. We also ensure the garden is well maintained for you to enjoy and our in-house maintenance team are always on hand to help with any problems that may occur.
Who can I contact in an emergency?
We have a 24hr emergency number and email address which can be used in an emergency. We aim to respond to every enquiry within 24 hours to give you peace of mind.

We are more than happy to share our knowledge with you - whether it is offering advise on the local area, doctors surgeries, dentists or help with rubbish and recycling - we will always make sure you are well looked after.
